This week on Lucky Life Radio we feature an amazing mix of music from our special guest who we had the pleasure of working alongside on one of our summer residency film projects throughout the Ibiza season 2018. Kintar, resident DJ for the new Elements Party which took place every Monday at Cirque du Soleil’s venue ‘Heart Ibiza’, provides us with another one of his powerful mixes, this time, recorded from one of his recent show at Project Beirut, in the capital city of Lebanon.
Argentinian born, Ibiza based DJ & producer, and the owner of Sudam Recordings, Kintar has played in Beirut over 30 times already, and in this weeks interview, he recommends it as a great place to visit in the middle east for a quality party. As resident DJ with Elements, he has also been one of the main crew behind selecting and recruiting the eclectic and inspiring mix of music artists who joined us for the season at Heart this summer, including the likes of Nick Warren, Hraach, Raxon, Hito, Andy Rourke, Adina Twins, Frankey & Sandrino, John Acquavia and many more.
This summer, Kintar’s set’s have been the soundtrack to many of our Monday nights filming the DJ’s, artists, live performers and party people of the incredible new party; Elements at Heart Ibiza, which blew many people away this summer with its wow of sounds, sights, visuals and array of experiences.
Elements at Heart Ibiza - Week 4
As well as being the soundtrack to our night, Kintar’s and his label releases from Sudam Record’s has also been the soundtrack to some of our weekly after movies. Without a doubt, my favourite one being: Kintar Feat. Romana – Yamana (Original Mix) [Sweet Musique] used on week 4’s after movie shown below. Each time I listen to it, it just takes me right back to the opening night where Kintar showcased a live percussion and the vocalist from this track, Romana, during his DJ set. What a way to start the season of parties that connected a unique mix of island locals, workers and tourists who all came together for this weekly pilgrimage of music, dance and art.
Thanks for joining for episode 304 of Lucky Life, brought to you since 2012 by Adam Nics and Mike Parry, now broadcast in 10 countries worldwide.
We hope you enjoyed the sounds of Kintar as much as we have throughout the summer, if you’d like to hear some more of his music and follow his movements, check out his soundcloud and social medias:
And remember, if you’re coming out to Ibiza in 2019, be sure to get in touch with us here at Lucky Life and we’ll get you set up for all the right parties, and you know we’ll be recommending a night with the Elements team at Heart Ibiza. Until next week, big love from the Lucky Life family here in Ibiza, and across the globe.
